It's Heavly Raining Bloddy Creeds

Everyone out there with a Twitter account and access to the Internet has been talking about Heavy Rain since it came out. Well, screw you guys. I haven't played it yet and I don't know when I will because I have to rely on Gamefly. But, if anyone would like to send me the game I will whore myself out on the podcast and say anything that you want me to, Anything. Now that's out of the way I can get right into the post without any more Heavy Rain talk.

Anyway I have just Beaten Assassins Creed 2 and I wanted to talk a little about this game that I had no intentions to play so much. At first I had only added it to my Game Q because I figured it deserved the benefit of the doubt that it would be an improvement over the first one. With that being said I forgot all about this game being on my Q until it came in the mail. I would have played it right away except my raging erection for Mass Effect 2 stood in the way.

I forgot all about the game for a while because I was lost in the amazingness of ME2. It wasn't until I hit a wall in Mass Effect where I had to mine planets that I noticed AC2 lying on my table. I popped the disk in and 3 hours later I got a call asking where I was. I couldn't believe how long I had played that game while thinking I still had time left. Right then I knew I was going to have to beat ME2 before I came back to AC2, otherwise I knew Mass Effect was going to become a resident of my pile of shame.

After I had finished Mass Effect 2 (and messing around with it) I grabbed AC2 and set a timer so I would know how long to play. When I got back into the game I found the plot to be easy to understand, but the coinciding plot not so much. (It wasn't until I found all the videos that I had put it all together) the gameplay was nice as well. My only gripe with the whole game was the free running. Like Alex it was probably because the areas were not a grid like in the first one. Even though I was annoyed with the bugs that made Ezio jump far right when I told him to go strait, the checkpoints were often enough to ease the pain.

I can wait to see what they do with the next game. They took an average game, fixed it, and turned it into pure gold. The only other thing that I can say is I want Heavy Rain right now...

Upgrade Aquired!

As you can see David and I have gave the site a complete overhaul. I have even added a contact us page where you can tell us anything that you want and we will say it in the air. Also if you find yourself wanting something that isn't currently on the site then let us know there too. Oh and don't complain about the adds I looked at the dragon age one and it actually is pretty cool. Plus we need some way of making money and right now we just don't have a lot of it. Anyway enjoy the upgrade and the new episode.

Blog update

Hey this is George, and I know it's been a long time since I have been posting. Sorry. But I'm here now so, enjoy what you get.

Anyway, I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about why I game. Well, it took a little soul searching for me but I came up with the answer. I do it not just to escape the real world but because I love to create and destroy things and make my own story. I know most everyone playing Half-life has had the same experience as me. But to me that is my story. I killed those things and no one else did. And when I tell people about the game, I tell them what I have done.

Because of this I have changed my path in life. I want to create stories and eventually games. I see that I have always wanted to do something with games and writing about them isn't it. I want to write them. With that said I know that it will take a while before I get there. And my end goal is to own my own video game company. Hopefully I will make it in this industry and someone will be talking about my games in a podcast. But until then I will continue to play games and enjoy them.
